Dr. Feldenkrais had injured his knee badly in his youth and by the time he turned 40, he was on crutches. Rather than accepting his situation, he set out to understand his body, brain and nervous system. You learn to put your weight through your knees and to align the knees better with your hip joints, ankles and rest of your body so that they can self-heal, as Dr. Feldenkrais did.

The diaphragm has a close relationship with the pelvic floor. They both need to be elastic and powerful, working together with your breathing and movement, to promote proper functioning of organs, muscles, facia and ensure powerful pain free action.
