Elegant walking is not only beautiful but also efficient and healthy!This workshop will relax and organize the many bones in the feet, strengthen the ankles and set the hip joints and knees in right relationship with the feet and pelvis. In walking we coordinate many joints together, from the circles that the feet make, to the hip joint and shoulder circles, to the uprightness of the spine and the clarity of the head resting on top of it. Efficient and elegant walking requires an elasticity from the feet to the neck and vice versa. We learn how to let go of unnecessary holding and unconscious stiffening.Find out more »

Aug 22-26, 2019. This transformational practice is rich with images from nature and yoga chakras. Dance and yoga meet in this conscious movement practice. Human development from infant to individual infuses the yoga practice. Yoga teachers can earn CEC’s with Yoga Alliance. This training comes from Eastwest Somatics Institute.
