Ouija: A Dance Partnering Workshop with Eddie Bruno Oroyan and Jessica Eirado Enes

April 6 @ 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm
|Recurring Event (See all)

One event on March 26, 2019 at 1:00pm

Saturday April 6 & Sunday, April 7. Pulling from the idea of the ideomotor phenomenon that is considered the ‘invisible player’ in an Ouija board game, our curiosity dives into how to train this subconscious “decider” that works at an underlying level of consciousness where we ‘do’ without thinking. We question what it means to join a movement journey and to explore manipulation in solidarity, and we explore how to let that ‘animal spirit’ under our skin move (through) us. Concurrently, we use a series of tools and games to help free the mind to be available and to make quick decisions.
