From Tip to Toes – Easy & Elegant Walking:A Feldenkrais®/Smart Moves workshop

Elegant walking is not only beautiful but also efficient and healthy! This workshop will relax and organize the many bones in the feet, strengthen the ankles and set the hip joints and knees in right relationship with the  feet and pelvis. In walking we coordinate many joints together, from the circles that the feet make, to the hip joint and shoulder circles, to the uprightness of the spine and the clarity of the head resting on top of it. Efficient and elegant walking requires an elasticity from the feet to the neck and vice versa. We learn how to let go of unnecessary holding and unconscious stiffening.
