Still & Moving Center is your source for mindful movement from the Dance Arts, Martial Arts and Healing Arts. Start your year with a little taste of each to see how good moving into deep Joy can feel!

Satisfy your New Year’s fitness craving with vinyasa flow Yoga or Pilates.  Dance – whether Belly Dance, Nia or Hula – will satiate your expressive nature. Indulge your daring self with an AIReal adventure – or opt for a closer-to-the-ground session. Find deeper, slower movement and even stillness in Foam Roller, Restorative Yoga, Yoga Fundamentals or possibly Qigong.

You can complete your experience with an inspirational movement session on the rooftop (wearing your socks or soft shoes) at sunset!

Learn the art of aligning your frame while improving your flexibility and breathing through yoga. Find new healthy movement patterns with Feldenkrais that may help you reduce chronic pain. Improve your vitality and resilience while steadying your mind in KoBang Qigong. The art of finding the childlike joy of movement comes through Nia!

Satisfy your New Year’s fitness craving with Pilates.  Dance – whether Samba, Belly Dance or Hula – will satiate your expressive nature. Indulge your daring self with an aerial hammock adventure – or opt for a closer-to-the-ground session. Complete the experience with an inspirational movement session on the rooftop (wearing your socks/soft shoes) at sunset OR a heart and lung-filling Hawaiian chanting oli session with Kumu Malia.

21 Day Art of Living Pledge

Take the 21 Day Art of Living Pledge and set yourself on the right track for 2018. Pledge yourself to take one class a day on any 21 days of January!

Our free, January 1st Art of Living Superclass is the ideal way to commence your 21 Day Pledge to the Art of Living. Our centered and motivating movement teachers are ready to cheer you every step of the way into your new, healthy year.

We are here to support your Art of Living progress. Live well! Live healthy! Live centered in the midst of movement!

At the end of January, we will celebrate everyone’s successes – big and small! Balloons and bubbly refreshments…Prizes for those who complete all  21 days of class! Some Pledge-takers even manage to take class all 31 days of the month! Watch for celebration date and time.

Healthy, centered living, Body, Mind and Spirit is truly an art. And like any art, practice makes perfect. Set your Art of Living practice into motion in January, and watch your entire year gain momentum. You feel better, breathe better, look better.

You are marvelously complex, with many aspects of yourself that deserve attention.   • Pledge yourself to participate in 21 days in January in either a) a class b) an event c) a healing therapy at Still & Moving Center
  • Sign up at the reception desk as a Pledge participant
  • Track your participation daily – either at the desk or on the Pledge to Health chart on the wall
  • Celebrate your achievement with fun, fanfare and free lunch on Sunday, January 31st at 12:15 pm! Prizes for folks who achieve 21 or more days on their Pledge to Health.

AND your pledge will contribute to others’ health as well:  For every pledge activity our participants record, Still & Moving Center will donate to two facilities caring for some of the island’s neediest populations:

  • One dollar to the Waianae Comprehensive Health Center AND
  • one dollar to the Waimanalo Health Center, both.
