This not just a little dance recital, just your average piano recital. This is a full-blown recital extraordinaire!

Like most recitals, you’ll get to sit STILL and watch the teachers and students. Yes! You’ll see dancing: Tahitian, Hula, Ballet Barre and Latin! You’ll also get to watch the martial arts of Shaolin Kung Fu and tai chi. Check out our new Ansura yoga class. See our Zen archers in practice, as well as the women’s self-defense class. Our aerialists will be swinging through for us to admire from our seats.

AND you will also be MOVING, as you might expect at our CENTER. You’ll have a number of opportunities to participate in the action. Try gentle QiGong, some Chang Quan for longevity, possibly Feldenkrais in your chair. Catch the beat with Nia and Fingerlight Groove!

It’s both a STILL and MOVING extravaganza you won’t want to miss!

HALLOWEEN ~ not just time for copious amounts of candy and cocktails! It is also a time of recognition for those in our lives who have passed on from this physical plane. Bringing light and joy-filled intention, we remember, honor and celebrate loved ones and ancestors during this time when the veil is thinnest between the worlds!

Bones are powerful. Come stretch and integrate your “Bones” in a magical yoga practice and flow to delightfully spooky tunes led by David Sanders, DJ wizard and yogi extraordinaire. Honor our body, our bones, our life, our Light! We start the night with performances to celebrate life: our keiki hula halau will delight us with their dancing and Apo Mahina, Still & Moving Center’s aerial performance troupe, will give an inspiring Aerial Lyra performance.

Come in early at 6:30 pm to paint your bones or any other cool design of your fancy! Use night glow paint on old yoga clothes (the paint can stain) and/or glow-in-the-dark skin paint. We’ll have both kinds available for purchase so you can paint yourself and your friends.
