No prior yoga experience is necessary, only an open mind and the desire to feel better in your body.
Claudia Castor grew up in Europe and has lived in and traveled among many different countries. Claudia started practicing Yoga at the beginning of the new millennium while sailing the Sea of Cortez, realizing a slower and simpler life style. In 2010 she completed the 200 hour Teacher Training certification at Open Space Yoga, as well as 3 months of apprenticeship with her mentor, Murti Hower. Through variousstudies and workshops she continues to grow her knowledge and practice with great passion. She is most influenced by the tantric Hatha style of Yoga as taught by Mary Bastien in the lineage of Rod Stryker and Murti Howerʼs zen like Yoga, in the lineage of Rodney Yee. She also brings an alignment oriented, very functional Iyengar style into her teaching. classes.
