Welcome to Meditation for a Healthy Peaceful World, inspired by a recent talk given by His Holiness the 14th Dalai Lama, about resilience, compassion, and the science of healing during these times. In his talk, the Dalai Lama spoke of the Oneness of all the 7 billion people on the planet. 

He spoke of a healthy peaceful world. 

One world.

Together. 

For the next 5 weeks, let us focus our gaze, intention, and our hearts on the future of One Humanity, for all 7 billion people on this beautiful planet. Each week we will work through a guided heart-opening meditation with the Healthy Peaceful World as the focus.

Miku Lenentine

Miku is deeply passionate about living in harmony with the self, others and all beings. She truly believes that each one of us contains the seeds of wisdom for the universe and the true purpose of being a teacher is to help guide each person to access the wisdom they already hold within themselves.

An experienced meditation practitioner and circle facilitator, Miku was raised in a mindfulness tradition and has trained with Dr. Eric Carroll at the Center for Vibrant Living for the past 7 years. She has guided weekly meditation, movement, and community dialogue circles since 2013 and facilitated a number of workshops in the greater Seattle area over the years most recently including Soulshine, Songaia, and Star Community. She has also presented mindfulness, yoga, and movement offerings at festivals and gatherings such as Beloved, Flowstate and the Northwest Permaculture Convergence.

 

Directions for getting in the online Zoom class:

1. One hour in advance, kindly sign up for your live online class on in MindBody / on our website. Our desk staff will then email you a link to your class on Zoom.

2. Please use the link to sign into Zoom, 5-7 minutes before class, allowing extra time to download the the app if you are new to Zoom.

Join Victoria for a peaceful evening of Thai Yoga Massage! A wonderful way to show loving kindness and receive loving kindness from a partner, friend or relative! In this special partner workshop, you’ll be guided through both giving and receiving a basic Thai Yoga Massage session. The healing art of Traditional Thai Yoga Massage is an ancient and sacred system of healing with roots in Yoga, Ayurvedic Medicine and Buddhism. It is a unique and powerful system which combines acupressure, assisted Yoga stretches and meditation.

This work creates a release of stress and tension, an increase in vitality and deepens the connection between mind, body and spirit in both the giver and receiver.

Thai Yoga Massage stimulates the flow of healing energies within the body, opening the areas which are blocked and bringing the body, mind and spirit back into balance and harmony, for health, happiness and well being. This practice is done fully clothed on the floor on mats so please dress comfortably!

Victoria creates a wonderfully supportive and comfortable environment for students! She is an ERYT 500 Yoga Teacher and has trained with Thai Yoga Massage teachers Saul David Raye, Kaline Alayna Kelly and Sukha Wong. Victoria also has her MSW, is an Esthetician and a Bach Flower Remedy practitioner. She currently teaches an Aerial Conditioning class at Still & Moving Center.

Victoria brings to each class her sparkle and an inspiring will toward self- improvement. She  is a multi-faceted performer and movement teacher. Victoria arrived in a relationship with the aerial arts traveling down the paths of yoga and dance. Victoria has studied dance trapeze with Susan Murphy, lyra with Elsie and Serenity, and aerial yoga with Michelle Dortignac. Victoria has also studied with excellent teachers in NYC, San Francisco, LA and Boulder. Victoria is an ERYT 500 yoga teacher, an Esthetician, Thai Massage Practitioner as well as a student of music. Victoria believes anyone can be an aerial artist and she will do a cartwheel for you if you give her a cookie!
