A Heart Dance Journey with Breath, Sound, and Loving Resonance

Open your heart with wave-movements and resonance. Evoke the waters inside. Dive into an exciting dance that has the depth & mystery of a shamanic journey.

By using breath, sound and delicious, wavelike motion, we undertake subtle and dynamic movement excursions into known and unknown waters inside our own world. You will explore exciting new territory that will emerge in the ocean of you own movement. This practice stimulates neurological growth and supports health and creativity. It builds liquid strength and resiliency.

By reminding our systems of its liquid origins, we can melt hard and dried up places inside of ourselves. Waveworks develops flow inside the organs and within the cells, thus influencing and slowing our aging process. You will bathe in your own loving and living resonance that communicates with all of life. WAVEWORKS invites you to participate in the fascinating creation process of the universe. With water there is fertility and new life.

WAVEWORKS owes its origins to Emily Conrad, who developed the amazing somatic practice called Contiuum, and who last year left her body (passed away) to dance in other dimensions.

She has been teaching movement and dance for the last 20 years internationally and has studied with Emily Conrad and Susanne Harper, Continuum Movement, for over 12 years.

This delightful workshop will leave you feeling rejuvenated with freshly oiled joints, more fluid connective tissue and a happy heart. We address breathing and moving from different standpoints to improve fluid, free healthy movement and new cell growth.  WaveContinuum is based on Continuum Movement developed by the great pioneer and movement healereva feldenkrais series Emily Conrad, who just passed this spring! Different than in Feldenkrais alone, we will use music and do sounding to open up our movement explorations. This session is for those who like to go to new horizons of awareness with the body and brain!

Eva Geueke has 30 years of international experience as a dance and movement teacher. She practices the path of embodying the sacred through dance and conscious movement. Her desire to heal her soul led her to become a professional dancer. In 1987 Eva completed her 4-year Professional Feldenkrais Training, which changed her understanding of brain, body and movement forever. Eva is a Qigong teacher of the Universal Tao. She has been teaching the Feldenkrais Method® internationally for 25 years.

The shoulder, the most mobile joint in our body, provides us with tremendous range of motion. This mobility can also  make the shoulder joint unstable causing issues in rotator cuff muscles, tendons, and ligaments. When the shoulder is misaligned, it also affects the neck and head.  Learn proper alignment and some great stretching and strengthening exercises to prevent problems such as TMJ, headache, neck and shoulder pain.
