Yoga has the power to bring comfort, ease, strength, flexibility, and balance to our lives. Sometimes taking that first step seems impossible. You may tell yourself that you are too stiff, over the hill, overweight or out of shape to begin. In fact, yoga can actually be a very gentle solution to all of those inner objections that keep you from walking into a class. There are dozens of others like you who would love to learn basic yoga postures in a safe, casual environment with clear directions for beginners.
This class is designed for ANYONE new to yoga who wants to feel great in their body. Over the 5 weeks of this series, you will learn to safely practice some of yoga’s most commonly used postures, and even how to adapt them for your comfort. We will also cover basic relaxation and breathing techniques that you can use at work or home to reduce stress and tension. You can gain the confidence to walk into any general yoga class and follow along without feeling lost. Experience for yourself how yoga benefits your body, from the outside in. Shall we begin?
