What is Good Posture and How to Attain it? Part 1
Everyone wants good posture, but what is it and how can we attain it?! There is so much misunderstanding about good posture even from professionals who should know but learned something inaccurate. We know good posture is important for the health of our spine and our organs, as well as our ability to move. Our posture is also our way of presenting ourselves to the world. In this dynamic Feldenkrais workshop, we do an in-depth exploration to sense our spine and posture accurately from within, and then learn to improve our posture in a natural way.

What is Good Posture and How to Improve and Maintain it? Part 2
Attaining our Good Posture, we learn how to sense our spine and posture accurately from within. Then we can improve our ‘Acture” the Feldenkrais way: smart, mindful and effective. Posture has to do with the action we take. With diverse activity, we constantly have to change our posture. Dr. Feldenkrais called that ‘Acture’- Posture in Action. The ability to have the right ‘Acture’ is helping us in all areas of our lives to be successful in caring out our intention to our satisfaction.
Eva Alewa Geueke studied Continuum Movement with founder Emily Conrad and S. Harper for many years. She loves teaching Wave Continuum, a spin of Continuum Movement, as it brings her and her fellow movement surfers into a very special heart opening loving creative state.
Eva has been a guild certified Feldenkrais® practitioner for almost 30 years. She came to the Feldenkrais Method® as a young professional dancer and it changed her understanding of brain, body, movement, and therefore herself, forever. Eva also teaches Contemporary Dance, Qigong-Universal Tao of Mantak Chia, and is a IAO healer.
