This 3 day Feldenkrais® Intensive is an in-depth immersion into the session’s focal point that you don’t get in a single class. Better yet, you have the opportunity to keep learning and improving for 3 consecutive days; this makes changing harmful habits even more efficient. The different movement lessons within each daily workshop approach the theme from different angles, so that all parts of yourself will benefit and you will leave with a well-rounded experience.

Undo Neck Tension and Re-Align with Feet Session: Undo neck tension with the help of these wonderful Awareness through Movement® lessons. Learn about finding better alignment and refine awareness to prevent reoccurring tension. We also will take a good look at our feet and their alignment. When you take your next steps, you will be able to lengthen your neck and walk like a Queen or King!
Good Knees, & Flexible Ankles on a Balanced Head Session: Learn to prevent or reduce joint damage and pain in ankles, knees and neck. Precise movement coordination is of vital importance to prevent inflammation and to help your joints heal. Knees have to work in tandem with well-functioning hip joints and ankles. Did you know that the your knees’ wellness has to do with how well-balanced you hold your head? Learn how to organize the spine and neck muscles so that the weight will be distributed more evenly over your knees. These Feldenkrais® lessons will help you improve mobility and movement function.
Walk Easy: Alignment from Head to Toes with a Strong, Mobile Pelvis Session:
Learn to make better use of your locomotion’s powerhouse: your hip-pelvis-lower back connection. We will refine our perception about HOW we walk in these lessons.The hip joints are part of the pelvis. The psoas muscle connects the legs to the lower back through the pelvis. Opening the hip flexors in this workshop increases healthy mobility and prevents hip damage. These Feldenkrais® movements enable you to sense the connection of your legs into your pelvis and torso so that all parts work together for powerful, flexible movement! Your lower back will also benefit.
Eva Alewa Geueke has been a guild certified Feldenkrais® practitioner for almost 30 years. She came to the Feldenkrais Method® as a young professional dancer and it changed her understanding of brain, body, movement and therefore, herself forever.
Since completing the 4-year Professional Feldenkrais Training in 1987 she has been teaching the Feldenkrais Method® internationally in thousands of private sessions, week long seminars, many hundreds of week-end workshops and evening classes.
Eva loves to teach and share her knowledge and love for conscious movement to help people to improve and excel in all areas of their lives.
Eva is also a teacher of Contemporary Dance, Qigong-Universal Tao of Mantak Chia, a IAO healer, a Capoeirista (Brazilian Martial Arts) and a choreographer. She also teaches Authentic Movement and Wave Continuum, a spin of Continuum Movement.
