“If you are tired of the technologically induced isolation rampant in society, please allow your true and amazing self to be seen and heard through the format of Sparked.

“I was introduced to Sparked by meeting a wonderful woman who just had a few cards from the game and used them to ask me questions that were refreshingly complex. Rather than killing time with small talk, we plunged headlong into a variety of topics and discussed aspirations and beliefs, dreams and insights, all within a few minutes of meeting each other.

“I was so impressed by the authenticity of our connection through just a few questions that I bought the game without actually sitting down and playing it! I have witnessed remarkable vulnerability and beauty in the men and women who ‘showed up’ and participated in this community building experience. Age-old patterns of frustrating communication were broken. Playing with people I thought I knew was eye opening and magical, and I cannot say enough about the ease in which strangers become friends when given an opportunity to play Sparked together.” – Vivian Best, Sparked Facilitator

Nathalie Champion

Nathalie enjoys helping others navigate the tricky world of residential real estate, and has been participating in ecstatic dance classes and retreats for 4 years, as well as playing the community building game Sparked every chance she gets!

Nathalie was born and raised on the east coast by her Haitian immigrant parents, who first sparked a love of dance and community within her. Their parties with the other Caribbean ex-pats living in New Jersey were legendary for the music and laughter experienced by all.

After graduating high school, Nathalie then chose to move to the Great North, where she studied business, dance, philosophy, and psychology, and graduated with a BA from the University of Alaska, Anchorage. After enduring 5 Alaskan winters, she headed southward to Santa Fe, NM, where for 12 years she ran a major art gallery and participated in many forms of dance, including modern with Julie Brett Adams, and tribal bellydance with Myra Krien, owner of Pomegranate Studios.

Nathalie and her amazing husband then set their sights across the ocean and moved their feathered and furry family closer to her human family, who live both on Maui and Oahu.

Nathalie’s Haitian immigrant parents first sparked a love of dance and community within her through their bustling, loud, joyful family gatherings. She studied business, dance, philosophy, and psychology at the University of Alaska, Anchorage, and currently enjoys helping others navigate the tricky world of residential real estate. Nathalie has been participating in ecstatic dance classes and retreats for years, and loves building community through hosting Sparked games every chance she gets!
