On this night of the Mauli (last sliver) moon in the Hawaiian tradition, we honor the pathways that have brought each of us to the present moment. We acknowledge that all our life experiences serve the greater purpose of helping us define our individual values and our soul purpose. Doing so ultimately grants us the wisdom to choose our best path forward.
The feminine side of our nature has a tendency to help others, so this can be an opportunity for us as women to look inward and reflect on choices we can make for our own evolution.
In this Red Tent, we move from early experiences that shape us as women, to a picture of how we are living our lives in the present and on to building a future vision for where we want to grow towards.
We conclude with a ceremony blessing the pathways, past…present…and future.

We gather to give and receive support, to share stillness, movement, laughter, tenderness and food. In our fast-paced society the Red Tent provides a place for us to slow down and connect, talk story and nourish things specifically female. In the Red Tent, we celebrate our experience in a female body. We give our spirits space to breathe and expand, and we share stories that only other women can understand. It’s a place of safety, rest, rejuvenation and rejoicing.
The Red Tent is a space open to all of us, where we are free to be exactly who and how we are right now.
“Each time women gather in this way to support, celebrate and strengthen each other, the world heals a little bit.” – Matilda Videgârd
