Ever wonder how yoga works?  Why do you feel relaxed, energized, balanced or challenged by certain poses and asana sequences?

Come learn about Points and Poses.

The  class series combines 5 element theory, meridian & acupressure points used in Oriental Medicine and massage with common yoga postures and western physiology to more deeply understand the health benefits of different yoga poses.

We will experience how movement, breath and specific herbs can enhance mental, physical & emotional optimum health & vitality. An engaging way to start or expand your practice or deepen your yoga teacher training. Beginners to teachers – all welcome!

Yoga and Doshas, asanas and pranayam techniques: Headaches, Diabetes, and Hormonal balancing through asana, breathing techniques, herbs and foods

Katie Fisher La.c YTT 200 has a masters of Science in Oriental Medicine. Katherine is a volunteer trainer for Acupuncturists without Borders (AWB- Nepal, Mongolia) and has studied Medicial Qi Kung, Ayurveda, Herbal Medicine. traditional and natural medicine and acupuncture in Hawaii, China, Japan, Nepal, India, Thailand and Mongolia. She is an advocate for Hawaii community health and wellness, Co-Founder of Hawaii Health Guide, Hawaii Healing Garden Festivals.
