The stomach muscles can only work well if the back muscles are released, and vice versa. When they fight each other, their battle causes our back pain.

Learn in this workshop safer, more effective ways than doing sit ups to get all of your stomach muscles to work together smoothly. And learn to do so without tightening your back muscles.

Dr Feldenkrais was a Black Belt in Judo. As an accomplished martial artist, he knew how to use his core effectively. He developed many Feldenkrais lessons for students to cultivate a functional sense of center and core power that so many people are looking for nowadays to prevent and relieve back pain.

As always in the Feldenkrais Method, students cultivate power not only on the physical level, but also as a sense of centeredness and inner strength.

Eva Alewa Geueke

Students appreciate Eva’s sincere care for their health and excellence on every level. Her range of personal experience in various moving art forms and her understanding of the workings of the human body in motion are both vast.

Eva Alewa Geueke has been a guild certified Feldenkrais® practitioner for 30 years. She came to the Feldenkrais Method® as a young professional dancer and it changed her understanding of brain, body, movement and therefore, herself forever. Since completing the 4-year Professional Feldenkrais Training in 1987 she has been teaching the Feldenkrais Method® internationally in thousands of private sessions, week long seminars, many hundreds of week-end workshops and evening classes.

Eva loves to share her knowledge and love for conscious movement to help people to improve and excel in all areas of their lives. She taught Yoga Aerobics® in NYC in the 80’s. Eva is a teacher of Contemporary dance, Qigong-Universal Tao of Mantak Chia, a IAO healer, a Capoeirista (Brazilian martial arts) and a choreographer.
