Join us for an afternoon of zen and creativity! Workshop students will craft a personalized knotted mala necklace from Balinese rudraksha seed beads. These necklaces can be used as a meditation tool and worn as a beautiful reminder of spiritual practice. The workshop will encourage intentionality and mindful movement, and will include a discussion on the history, meaning and use of mala necklaces.
Katie enjoys teaching yoga classes themed around intention-setting and moon cycles. She teaches Vinyasa Flow, Deep Stretch and Restorative yoga, focussing on alignment and mindful breath. She emphasizes yogic principles and encourages students to own their practice and take it with them home, and beyond the mat.
Katie enjoys her twin passions of art and yoga. Originally from Texas, she’s been journeying throughout Southeast Asia, Europe and Israel over the last year. While traveling she has taught yoga, given mala workshops, and developed her jewelry line “Verdante Studio”. She completed her 200 hour YTT at the Yoga Barn in Bali in 2018 and taught weekly yoga classes while living in Israel.
