The pelvis bears the weight of our upper body when sitting and standing. Misalignment in the pelvis can lead to problems throughout the entire body. Learn proper alignment and some great  stretching and strengthening exercises to prevent issues such as lower back, hip and knee pain.

Saturdays 1:30 – 3:00 pm

June 8 – Feet, Ankles & Knees

June 22 – Hands & Wrists (will address carpel tunnel, tennis elbow)

June 29 – Knees & Pelvis

July 6 – Shoulders & Neck

Li Si Yang, pilates instructor, is the owner of Journey to Fitness.li si yangShe has been in business for over ten years and specializes in educating students on her “Fitness Pyramid,” a step-by-step, level by level program on the ABCs of corrective exercise. Li Si calls herself “teacher of self-care” because she believes mindful movement leads to self- discovery. Li Si is the inventor of the “Fitness Cue,” a fitness apparatus that gets the whole body involved with every stretching and strengthening movement. She also created the “Ball Therapy Express,” a simple and quick routine using two gentle therapy balls to relieve tension in the head, neck, shoulders and lower back. Li Si is very excited to be a part of the Still and Movement Center and to help her students find their passion, meaning and purpose through fitness.
