Are you seeking a holistic practice that will satisfy body, mind and spirit? Bruno Ballestrero is a highly trained martial arts teacher who can introduce you to such a practice.

You may have tried many different practices already without finding what really works for you. You may have gone different places to meet different needs: to yoga for stretching, to Crossfit for a workout, to an MMA-type studio for self-defense, and to a temple or retreat for meditation.

Traditional Shaolin Kung Fu as Bruno teaches it is holistic, providing ALL these benefits in one class. You get flexibility, strength, cardio workout, a martial art with philosophy, ideas, principles, as well as the depth of meditation.

Like any real teacher, Bruno is interested in finding students who want to dedicate time and attention to their practice. If you just want to sweat and exhaust yourself without thinking, this practice is not for you. If you just want to relax and feel soft, Kung Fu is definitely not for you. If all you want to do is throw punches and kicks, don’t bother to come. If you just want to meditate and get away from the world, Shaolin Kung Fu class is not the place to do it. If you want a fast pill to fix your life, this isn’t it.

On June 20th, 4-6 pm, a week before the workshop, Bruno will give a demonstration at the Still & Moving Center Summer Recital, a free event. Come check it out and see for yourself whether traditional Shaolin Kung Fu is for you.

If you like what you experienced and feel affinity with this workshop, then you are welcome to train every Monday and Wednesday evening at our regular classes.
