Core Strength and much more the Feldenkrais® and the Body-Mind Centering® Way!

Come to our Intro to Body-Mind Centering evening class on Thursday, Mar 6th. Donation

In the Feldenkrais part of the workshop, we work with a very early developmental pattern that activates and exercises our core and flexor muscles and that is connected to digestion. It will also connect the neck with the lower part of the spine and the mouth with the whole digestive system. This will help you and your back to stand and walk grounded without back ache and tiredness.
In Body-Mind Centering terms, we would call the digestive canal and the flexors the `soft spine`. The new frontiers in BMC® explore embryology and its impact on our behavior and movement. The early development of the soft spine establishes an internal midline that serves as reference axis and orientation for right and left sidedness and symmetry, for the clarity and distinctness of any movement pattern. We will dive into embryology and find what remains in our vertebral discs from that early stage of our development leading to the flexibility and softness of our bony spine.   For more info about BMC, see:  http://www.bodymindcentering.com
