Dive in with Wave Continuum’s breath and sound to open your heart space into movement. From that connection ride the wave of music that may lead you from slower to ecstatic and wild to lyrical to arrive at a slowdown into deep relaxation and sacred heart space again.
This dance can just be a great, fun, physical workout or a deep emotional journey where you can express your joy or transform through dance whatever is weighing you down.
Eva holds safe space for you to get very close to yourself through movement and breath: a space where you can touch your unique essence, the divinity within yourself that connects with everything. Join like-minded people online who choose dance as one of their favorite ways to keep balanced and healthy, inside and out.
In the rhythm of your heart you hold your beautiful truth. The virtues of the heart include love, dignity and joy. In our dance we can transmute anything that burdens the heart into that which lifts it.
Dance the spectrum of your heart’s feelings, of your body’s experience: from soft to spacious, from fearful to frenetic, from passionate to loud and joyous, from whimsical to quiescent. In this space you can explore your edges as well as you center!
After the dance we can take an extra 15 min online to connect and share.
No prior experience needed. Before the dance, we suggest clearing and decluttering as much space as possible for you to move freely!
EVA ALEWA GEUKE
Eva Alewa Geueke leads guided Dance classes and events for 30 years now. She is a dancer at heart, as well as a professional Contemporary Dancer, who has always been interested in meaningful, authentic and transformative dance without being heady. Dance for her is a universal language that opens the heart, frees the spirit and brings peace, joy, health, creativity and positive transformation.
Eva loves to learn choreographed dances, yet feels that form needs to be balanced with the expression of one’s own personal dance language that comes out of oneself, a movement language that does not need to be judged, criticized or remembered. It lives beyond right and wrong, beautiful and ugly in the glorious moment of one’s authentic truth.
