Gandhi International Institute for Peace invites you to celebrate the 151st birthday (1869-2020) of Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi. Gandhi stands as one of the most important political and spiritual leaders for peace in our time. He pioneered vast, nonviolent civil disobedience and liberated India from Britain’s colonial oppression without a war. His grandson Dr Arun Gandhi joins us for this event.

Enjoy interfaith leaders pledging to work for world peacemulticultural performances, music and dance.

Still & Moving Center will be hosting this event through an interactive Zoom platform as well as live-streaming to our Facebook page. Guest performances and presentations by our very own Kumu Malia Helela, Willow Chang and Zeny Ogrisseg, as well as Roger Sinha, Akari Ueoka and Sequoia Carr-Brown.
