This class is for de-stressing and re-balancing our energy. This combined yoga practice renews us and readies us for the week ahead. A vinyasa flow sequence invigorates you, then settles the system down for a deeply restorative session. We move our spine in all directions, alternately stimulating and soothing our organ systems. We reverse the effects of gravity, returning the fluids to our upper body and enhancing heart function. Reducing muscle tension and fatigue, as well as improving digestion, we provide a supportive environment to relax the body. Our restorative yoga can use a variety of postures supported with props – such as chairs, bolsters, blankets and straps – to experience deep body relaxation. We end with a guided awareness meditation to still the mind.

Lindsey Mulliniks

Lindsey’s goal as a yoga instructor is to empower others through yoga. With strong, dynamic flows, she helps cultivate body and breath awareness, encourages students to embrace their unique gifts, and gives students the opportunity to connect with the deeper power within themselves. She loves to smile and laugh which translates to a teaching style that is both lighthearted and playful while remaining firmly rooted in the fundamentals.

Lindsey began practicing yoga in 2012 while searching for ways to improve her flexibility. This initial search led her to begin practicing Ashtanga yoga, where she quickly discovered the power of using breath and movement to release the stresses of daily life. Driven by her love for movement and anatomy, she began to delve into many different styles of yoga, and after years of consistent self-study and practice, completed a 200-hour teacher training with Power Yoga Hawaii.

Realizing the transformative power of yoga, she’s now inspired to share what she’s learned on and off the mat. With an in-depth understanding of alignment and energetic principles, she creates a safe space for her students to explore and deepen their practice. Her classes combine elements of strength and fluidity which blend into a challenging flow that will leave you feeling grounded and sweaty.
