Private MELT sessions with Katharine Harts
MELT Method® is an innovative self-care practice. MELT Method restores, renews and revitalizes your connective tissues, fascia and cellular fluids, allowing ease of movement and pain relief or pain prevention. This groundbreaking self-healing practice complements other self-care and fitness practices. MELT uses rubber balls and a soft foam roller to create tolerable compression to support the nervous, hormone and immune systems throughout the entire body.
In three sessions Katharine can design a MELT map to address your specific issues. Examples of MELT maps include: Lower back pain relief, Plantar Fasciitis, Hip opener map, hip stabilization map, knee pain map , neck release map, neuroCore stability sequence, desk jockey map, holiday travel map and performance maps for tennis, golf, gymnastic, aerial and aerobic activities like Nia. These designed MELT maps can be done on your own to prevent injury and help relief the cycle of chronic pain.
Initial consult: 60 min / $85
Follow ups: 60 min $75 /each
3 session MELT map: $225 (includes a soft ball, $7 value)

Katharine’s background in movement runs deep and wide. As a dance and fitness educator, she is certified in aerial yoga, many somatic disciplines and the MELT Method Bodywork. She holds an MFA in Dance from the University of Arizona, is a graduate of the Tamalpa Institute where she studied with dance pioneer, Anna Halprin.
She taught hundreds of students over a decade at her Center for Embodied Spirituality, LLC in Marin County, California. Utilizing various aerial props such as trapeze, hammock and lyra, she loves teaching dance and improvisation (See soullovesthebody.com).
Some of Katharine’s professional performance experience includes Liz Lerman Hallelujah Project, ORTS Theater of Dance, Body Prints Theatre, Zenith Dance Collective, Anna Halprin’s “Spirit of Place” Stern Grove 2009 and UpSwing Aerial Dance Company National Dance Week Performance 2014-2018.
