Mondays 5:45 – 6:45 pm, February 11, 18 & 25.
Find the fun and new skill of Acro Yoga from an experienced yogi and Thai yoga massage practitioner, Shy Sayar. With fine anatomical technique and a thorough understanding of the needs of the human body, “flyers” and “bases” can help each other have an acro experience that is pleasant and beautiful, opening the door to increasing possibilities. Surprisingly, this practice uses leverage much more than strength. This 3-class series will underscore developing the ability to listen to each other’s bodies and create wordless dialogues of trust, and will include delightful, effortless and highly effective “acrossage” and Thai yoga massage techniques.
