Join us for a whole body and whole person approach to practicing yoga. Here we emphasize mind-body health through therapeutic and preventative techniques. This classic Hatha yoga class includes breathing practices, holding and flowing through poses, meditation techniques and other mindfulness practices. Lindsey incorporates Ayurveda-based sequencing and suggests yoga practices for students’ varied constitutions. If you are experiencing specific health circumstances or injuries, no problem; please let Lindsey know ahead of time so that she can plan options with you.

Lindsey exudes the steady assurance that we are all more capable than we realize. Students and clients feel a natural trust in her, as someone grounded in reliable experience and knowledge. She is an educator, yoga practitioner and yoga therapist. She specializes in trauma sensitive yoga as well as yoga for children. Multi-talented, she has authored a children’s yoga book series, co-produced a yoga kids music album, and developed YogaFit® Fit and Focused Kids. Lindsey is also a member of the Hawaii Parkinson Association Board of Directors offering her knowledge of wellness, healing and yoga for Parkinson patients.
Lindsey holds a PhD in Geography emphasizing human development and resiliency. Combining her dedication to community service with her passion for yoga, she teaches yoga classes for all populations, and works with individuals in one-on-one yoga therapy sessions. Lindsey has developed and taught yoga programs for all ages in San Juan, Puerto Rico; Frisco, Texas; Stuttgart, Germany; San Diego, CA and Honolulu, HI. She has volunteered teaching yoga in every place she has lived. She holds tremendous faith in human beings’ ability to persevere, recover and move on.
