Malu Healing Room
I thought it would be a fun idea to highlight the room itself. Read on for some interesting tidbits including my Q & A with the founder of Still & Moving Center, Renee Tillotson, and a great special good through this Sunday!
Me ke aloha,
Mālia Helelā, Malu Healing Room Manager and Licensed Massage Therapist

Maliaʻs Q&A with Renee:
Malia: Aloha Renee, thank you for sitting down with me. Can I ask you first, how did you decide to include a healing room at Still & Moving Center?
Renee: I’ve personally found tremendous benefits from the more traditional and/or natural healing practices such as we offer, benefits that a doctor’s pills don’t provide. Our Mission Statement ends by saying that Still & Moving Center Mission statement ‘is a healing place, a haven for renewal. Anyone who engages in the Still & Moving Center’s offerings should walk out feeling even better, in every sense, than they did when they entered.’ The Malu Healing room is one of the places at Still & Moving that help people to feel better when they walk out!
Malia: What does it take to be healthy?
Renee: Health comes from the way we live our lives, from what we eat, how we exercise, how we sleep, how we take care of ourselves. Once a person commits to living a healthy lifestyle, we want to be here to help them. The practices in our Malu Healing room – as well as the rest of Still & Moving Center – support health on every level of the whole human being.
Renee’s Health Tip: “If I go to bed upset, I tend to get sick. Gandhi advised making any apologies we need to by the end of the day. I do my best to go to bed with a clear conscience – nothing like it for a good night’s sleep! Malia, you say I laugh a lot. Laughing at my mistakes and all the silly things I do – maybe that’s part of the health tip. Goodness knows I have a lot to laugh about!”
Special Deal of the Week: Mention this blog post when booking your appointment this week for 15% off any therapy the week of October 3-9. This is a great deal because usually you have to buy 6 treatments to get this kind of discount! Hope to see you soon.

Bio of Malu Healing Room: Located in the heart of Still & Moving, Malu Healing Room is the center of our healing practices. Like the inner point of our logo, it is the calm space in the midst of swirling movement. We invite you to step in, take a breath and feel a sense of peace.
