Pilates, Feldenkrais and Fitness Classes at Still & Moving Center
These floor movement classes are designed to increase body awareness for healthy, safe, conscious movement. Fitness and health professionals are increasingly discovering the advantages of floor work, especially in the mind-body context. Pilates mat work is particularly effective in developing core strength. The subtle, gentle movements of Feldenkrais serve to reset the nervous system, effectively healing long-held structural problems in the body. Current classes include: Pure Pilates – Beginning and Intermediate, Feldenkrais, Pilates and Yoga with Fitness Cue.
All of our classes at Still & Moving Center are designed to enhance your health as a whole person: body, mind and spirit. Some classes include weights, balls, rollers, etc. in ways that integrate the movements of the whole body.
